I can't believe that it's already February! Wow. After Christmas, time is flowing by so fast. I realized that I haven't posted anything in awhile so I'd thought I'd update you a little bit on my life. :)
A lot of my teachers were absent during the school week so I got to skip a lot of class. On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon I interviewed (via Skype) for colleges. It's weird to be applying for colleges while studying abroad. I feel so disconnected from the senior year/ college process but, I prefer it that way. :) The whole college search is much more relaxed here in Châtellerault.
Friday night I went to a soirée at a friends house.
Pili, Sydney, Chelsea, et moi
Saturday, I thought I was going to be playing in a handball game and I then it turned out that I wasn't on the roster for playing so I watched the game instead. That night we had crêpes for dinner (and dessert!).
This is probably the one millionth photo of food on this blog...
Gilles- France's Top Chef
You can't tell from this picture but there a lot of tools involved making crêpes. It's a real science.
After LouLou was told not to play with his food...
Then he proceeded to try and eat his new mask.
For dessert there was so many (too many!) options. Everything from nutella to whipped cream to jam to honey to melted chocolate! Miam!
So Rachel, (my twin sister for those who don't already know) stumbled upon this song today and told me about it.
"Jolie Conquine"avec Caravan Palace
Caravan Palace is a french music group. It's a fusion electronic style music and Parisian style jazz music and then remixed with American swing music to create some sort of french electro jazz/swing music. This type of music isn't necessarily super popular right now, but I thought I'd share it anyway. :)
