La lumière de Bethléem
It is a tradition of the scouts here for Noël (Christmas). Every year, there is a flame lit at Bethlehem. The flame travels by lantern to Austria where it shared with other lanterns. The other lights travel around the world  and are spread to different lanterns. Ending with a lot of candles with their flames from the same source. The following pictures are of the ceremony where Mathilde, Lucy, and Benjamin brought back the light from Paris to share with everyone in Châtellerault.

This is the creche scene at the church in Poitiers. There is someone important missing here...

 LOVELY! I love macaroons!
Our first gingerbread house failed and so we had to reconstruct it. Louis helped me build the gingerbread house the second time.
Speculoos^^ It's a spread like a Nutella, but it's made from crushed cookies. :)
The finished gingerbread house. Complete with Napoleon Bonaparte snowman-note his hat.
